Who we are

ALLOIC is a digital engineering and experience studio. It is run by Damian Mattey, who is responsible for how personal information is handled here. We follow Canada’s privacy law (PIPEDA) and anti-spam law (CASL).

What we collect and why

There are no advertising or behavioural analytics tools on the marketing site. Hosting providers process technical request information to serve and secure the pages.

If you send the project planner on the homepage, we receive what you enter: your name, business, email, town and website, your answers, and any notes, plus the page you sent it from and the time. If you email us, we receive what you send.

We use it only to reply, to prepare your paid analysis, and to run any project you go ahead with. We never sell it or add you to a mailing list.

Where it goes

Vercel hosts the site. Like any web host, it sees technical details such as your IP address and browser so it can deliver the pages and keep them secure.

The marketing enquiry form passes your request to Damian through one or more service providers, such as a messaging app, an email delivery service, or a customer-records tool. If none is available, your own email app opens with a pre-filled message to info@alloic.com, and nothing is sent until you press send.

When customer accounts are available, Supabase Auth handles email sign-in. The private account database stores your verified email, business details, project brief, analysis report and payment or subscription references so the studio can deliver the service.

Stripe handles checkout, invoices, payment methods and subscription management. Card details are entered on Stripe’s hosted pages; ALLOIC stores payment references and status, not full card details.

These providers may store or process information outside Canada, including in the United States, under those countries’ laws.

How long we keep it

We keep a request while we reply and, if we work together, for the length of the project. Requests that don’t become a project are deleted within 12 months. Records of paid work, such as invoices, are kept as long as tax law requires. You can ask us to delete your information sooner.

Your choices

You can ask to see the information we hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted. Email info@alloic.com and you’ll get an answer within 30 days.

The consent box on the form covers email about your request and nothing else. Reply “unsubscribe” at any time and those emails stop.

If you are unhappy with how we handled your information, you can complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

Cookies

The public marketing pages do not set tracking cookies. The customer workspace uses necessary sign-in cookies to keep your session secure. Our typeface loads from Fontshare, a font service, so Fontshare sees your IP address, as any website you visit would. Links to other sites follow those sites’ own policies.

Changes

We will post any changes here with a new date.
